Fitting The Optique is supplied complete with all that is required to attach to your VDU.
1) Two velcro pads will be found attached to the underside of the attachment lip. With their accompanying adhesive pads, these will be used to attach your Optique to your VDU. Prior to fitting, separate and keep the velcro pieces. Do not remove the self adhesive backing to the velcro yet.     2) Place the Optique in position on your VDU, and move it around until it completely covers your screen. Now mark the location for the two velcro pads on the top of your VDU that you have marked.     3) Remove the Optique and attach the self adhesive velcro pads on the top of your VDU that you have marked.     4) The Optique can now be attached by the velcro pads to your monitor     5) Finally, angle the VDU with the Optique attached so that reflections and glare are minimised from the operator's position.
Cleaning The Optique requires the minimum of maintenance and cleaning. The external aspects of the Optique may be cleaned by any proprietary computer cleaner. Do not spray fluids on the suface, rather spray cleaners onto a lint free cloth and wipe the outside of the Optique. Do not use computer cleaners on lens. To remove dust and finger marks on the Optique lens, use a soft dry cloth. Do not use a yellow duster as this may leave fluff deposits on the interior velvet base. It is important to keep the inside velvet covered base of the Optique free from specks of dust as this would be reflected into the lens. To clean, dab the velvet with sticky tape.
